We love a good Christie Brinkley throwback. While the SI Swimsuit legend appeared on three back-to-back SI Swimsuit Issue covers in 1979, 1980 and ’81, the supermodel has graced countless others throughout her career.

The 69-year-old mom of three shared a flashback to her You magazine cover of yesteryear on Instagram on April 18. In the photograph, snapped by David Hockney, Brinkley stood on her tiptoes in a strapless white bikini. She knelt forward with her hands together, miming getting ready to dive into water, while her long blonde locks cascaded down her back.

“Wanted! A girl like Christie Brinkley,” the publication’s cover read.

Brinkley quipped in her caption, “I’m diving into some old covers @youmagazine and I LOVE @davidhockneyofficial.”

Plenty of Brinkley’s 848,000 followers were smitten with the image.

“I’ve got that magazine at home @christiebrinkley from The Mail on Sunday…💞🥰👍,” one person wrote in the comments. “Absolutely loved it then & love it now….the photo could have been taken yesterday as You really haven’t changed at all….🥰☀️🥂🍾💞🥳.”

“Thank you, @christiebrinkley for motivating me to get to the gym this AM 🔥#icon,” another fan playfully added.

“This cover is definitely a motivator to get swimsuit ready for this summer!!” someone else agreed. “Thank you 🙌❤️❤️ beautiful then and now!!”
