Christie Brinkley has graced hundreds of magazine covers throughout her iconic career, including three back-to-back SI Swimsuit Issues. The model, mom and entrepreneur shared a throwback image from another publication on Instagram on April 5.

The July 4, 1983 issue of Us magazine featured Brinkley on the cover in a white strapless bikini. She posed with one leg bent in the air as her blonde locks fanned out around her.

“Christie Brinkley: new guy, new book, new movie,” and “Christie Brinkley bounces back with Billy Joel,” read relevant headlines splashed across the magazine’s cover. It also featured images and storylines with Mr. T, Donna Dixon and Ann Turkel.

“Throwing it back to these #hotstuff days in 1983 …now Now in 2023 it’s more like throwing out your back and reaching for some hot stuff to put on it! 😂 🤣,” the 69-year-old wrote in her caption.

Brinkley was cheekily referencing the magazine’s main headline: “Hot stuff,” along with a subheader that read, “Sexy celebs rev up for summer madness.”

“you are so inspiring and timelessly beautiful always Christy! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟,” Susan Holmes McKagan gushed in the comments.

“Love it!” a fan wrote. “I’m almost positive I actually had this issue back in the day! 😆💜.”

“You look fab now 🔥👏,” someone else applauded.
