Lori Harvey, a model and swimwear designer, will be featured as a rookie in the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue, out this May. The Yevrah Swim founder recently traveled to Mexico with photographer Yu Tsai for her photo shoot, an opportunity she called a “dream come true.”

“I would say the three words that I would use to describe it would be manifested, surreal and perfection because it was literally a moment that I manifested,” Harvey said of her experience on location. “It was a very surreal moment for me, and the entire shoot was just perfection from top to bottom ... [and] once I got on set, it was just magical.”

While the 27-year-old launched her swimwear and resort wear brand just last August, she told SI Swimsuit that she dreamed of posing for the brand in her own line—a goal that will come to fruition with the publication of the 60th anniversary SI Swimsuit Issue.

“I created this brand from the ground up by myself, I designed everything myself, I picked the fabric, I picked the colorway,” Harvey said of Yevrah Swim. “I’m all about body positivity and inclusion, and I really wanted that to translate when I was creating the brand.”
