This year’s top seven Swim Search finalists are an incredibly special group. From shining at SI Swimsuit’s launch week events in May to creating a community with one another over the past few months, each and every one of these women embody what the SI Swimsuit brand stands for.

Which is why all seven women were chosen as co-winners of the Swim Search open casting call and will appear in the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue as rookies! Achieng Agutu, Nina Cash, Sharina Gutierrez, Penny Lane, Brittney Nicole, Jena Sims and Berkleigh Wright each earned their spot in next year’s 60th anniversary issue.

Meet each of the 2023 Swim Search winners here and watch the video in which they were surprised with the unprecedented news by editor in chief MJ Day.

Each of the seven women walked the SI Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week this July at the W South Beach and have continued to prove their alignment with the brand’s mission. They each use their platforms to facilitate conversations around inclusion while celebrating their unique beauty. From Jena Sims’s annual Pageant of Hope™ to Gutierrez‘s Mama Mantra community, these women are actively working to make the world a better place.

“The brand truly empowers, motivates and validates the voices of all women,” Agutu said. “With my own platforms, I’ve tried to do just that as well, so... it feels that my long journey to get to this point is all worth it. It’s surreal and magical!”
