Cris Urena is thriving on vacation in Mexico. The model shared a gorgeous video of herself posing against a bright orange wall surrounded by lush green leaves. The Massachusetts native donned a white triangle-shaped bikini top with beaded straps. She paired it with a dark green floor-length sarong, which she folded up on one side to show off her toned legs.

“A little gem from Mexico,” read the on-screen text. “Full of colors. Love the glow.”

“In my habitat, heat, humidity, and sun-kissed,” she captioned the March 17 post she shared with her 42,800 Instagram followers. “Travel archives.”

The mom of three accessorized with a dainty gold necklace and floppy straw hat to protect herself from the sun. Her hair was loosely tied back into a low ponytail.

“So beautiful 🔥,” Sharina Gutierrez chimed in the comments.

“These colors!!! 🙌❤️✨,” Carly Bennett wrote.

Urena was featured in the 2014 SI Swimsuit Issue. Before entering the modeling scene—and appearing in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Maybelline, MAC and more—she was in nursing school and worked part-time as an assistant in a clinic.

“I wanted to scream,” Urena said when she heard the news of her rookie status with SI Swimsuit. “Sports Illustrated takes every girl’s career to another level. It opens opportunities and allows people to get to know you worldwide.”
