Naomi Osaka is gearing up to make her comeback at the 2024 Australian Open and she’s teasing fans with impressive new footage. The tennis pro took the past year off as she welcomed her baby girl, Shai, whom she shares with partner Cordae, in July. The four-time Grand Slam winner is headed back to the courts next month and is currently in full training mode.

The 26-year-old donned dark green biker shorts and a white T-shirt as she tossed her ball in the air and rallied back and forth with someone off-camera. The SI Swimsuit model was captured by talented visual artist Samba, whom she has previously worked with on creative projects.

“Hard work will eventually pay off,” Osaka captioned an Instagram carousel that she shared with her 2.7 million followers.

“Let’s go Naomi!!!” Hana Kuma commented.

“It already has!!!!” Autumn Moultrie exclaimed.

“Yes it does! 🙌🔥💪,” Margit Bannon wrote.

“Giiiirl, you don’t even know how excited I am to see you back on the tour 😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍,” one person chimed.

“Truth!!! And you owe us nothing, Sis. I’m just very happy to have the chance to watch you play some more. Results will come. You’re too good for them not to,” another gushed.

“I don’t know how the beginning of the year is going to go for me. Like, I don’t know the level of play. And I think I kind of have to ease into it,” the former World No. 1 said of her return. “So at the very least, I’m going to set myself up for a very good end of the year.”
