Naomi Osaka Reportedly Back to Training 15 Days After Welcoming Baby Girl

The professional tennis champion recently gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Cordae.

Naomi Osaka is a beast and back on the tennis courts. The new mom, who just welcomed a baby girl with boyfriend and singer Cordae two weeks ago, is reportedly back on the court and getting her training in.

Women’s sports brand, TOGETHXR, which is co-founded by soccer player Alex Morgan, snowboarder Chloe Kim, basketball star Sue Bird, swimmer Simone Manuel and businesswoman Jessica Robertson announced Osaka’s comeback in a sweet IG post. The short video showed the four-time Grand Slam singles champion stepping over hurdles with full force and energy.

“@naomiosaka right back to it 💪 I love watching women, women 🥹,” the brand wrote.

A tweet, noting that it was just 15 days after the SI Swimsuit model—who is of Haitian and Japanese descent—had given birth, was overlayed on the screen.

She wore a black, lightweight Nike, quarter-zip long sleeve paired with capri leggings, a blue cap and blue sneakers.

“Wow. That’s pretty intense for postpartum😅,” one fan commented. “I’m impressed! I can’t wait to watch her continue to play beautifully!”

“Ouuu! That walk after the last hurdle is felt 😅,” another candidly wrote.

Osaka announced the news of her new baby on July 13 with an adorable face-less photo of her daughter.

“Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕,” she wrote.
