A Night Out in Hollywood: Vogue World’s Best Runway Looks

The 2025 installment of Vogue World was a sight to behold from start to finish. For this year’s theme, the esteemed runway show paid homage to some of the most iconic and popular films of modern-day Hollywood. Celebrities and other familiar faces strutted down the catwalk, sporting ensembles anyone could recognize from miles away.
Without a doubt, Vogue World 2025 was right on time, especially with Halloween right around the corner. But don’t be fooled—there’s nothing costume-y about these outfits, as they all give high-fashion couture from head to toe. Below, find our favorite looks from the star-studded evening.
Angela Bassett
All hail the Queen of Wakanda! Bassett looked magnificent in her majestic purple gown. The gold detailing, featuring intricate tribal artwork, is where the creativity in this look shone the most. However, it’s her beautiful and regal headpiece that earned our bout of praise.
Anok Yai
All we’re saying is that we’ve never seen Yai and Edward Scissorhands in the same room. This look was replicated with the utmost attention to detail, as there is seldom any difference between this runway look and the costume from the 1990 Tim Burton classic. In true supermodel fashion, Yai put her unique it girl touch on the look.
Elizabeth Debicki
Debicki was as elegant as she was captivating in her black lace. Once again, this combination of color and fabric is undefeated in the ever-changing world of fashion, standing the test of time no matter the year. The flower decorations, silver epaulet and the crown of black petals were exquisite accessories to include in Debicki’s uniform.
Grace Elizabeth
She is beauty, she is Grace. Figuratively and literally. Elizabeth can be likened to a royal princess with this gorgeous light pink piece. Its dramatic sizing made it the avant-garde piece of the night. There’s no doubt all eyes were on Elizabeth, as she sashayed down the catwalk with the ruched fabric following her every sway.
Julia Garner
Marie Antoinette is a tried-and-true costume that truly can never be interpreted incorrectly. Every version is remarkable, including Garner’s nod to the historical figure. Her reimagining was done cleverly here, with even the ruffles being as dreamy as they were on Kirsten Dunst’s costume in the 2006 romance/historical drama. Of course, her hair was as fabulous as can be.
Lauren Huyskens
What is there not to love about Huyskens in this still? From the poised pose that exudes confidence to the daring Black Swan-esque eye makeup as bold as any, this was a distinguished look deserving of all the praise. Even so, what certainly took the limelight was the tiered piece full of vibrant colors. The juxtaposition between the plum tones and the glittery gold was a delightful sight.
Libby Taverner
Taverner embodied springtime realness in this sophisticated, floral-filled number. Set against the black color, the flowers of different shapes and sizes livened up the dress and allowed her to be a radiant individual underneath the autumn sky. Being covered in a garden has never looked better.
Olivia Petronella Palermo
Palermo was a gold vision, looking too expensive to touch in a piece as dazzling as this one. The way the light brought even more of a glowing aura to the dress was picture-perfect and really sold the opulent vibe on the runway.
