Olivia Dunne is taking over the LSU gym, TikTok and now the New York Stock Exchange. The NCAA athlete makes her editorial debut in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. Dunne, the magazine’s 2023 cover star Brooks Nader and 2022 cover model Yumi Nu all visited the NYSE on Thursday and had the honor of ringing the morning bell at 9:30 a.m. ET, signaling the opening of the world’s largest stock exchange.

Members of the SI Swimsuit team including editor in chief MJ Day also attended the iconic event at 11 Wall St.

“Livvy, thank you for also lending your talent and your message to this brand. What you’re doing for female collegiate athletes is extraordinary. You’re opening up a whole world of business and branding and conversation around that. Your blood sweat and tears … you’re paving the way for other athletes,” Day said in a speech at the NYSE. ”These women take a lot of the world’s weight on their shoulders when they choose to do this and when they end up on the cover. They’re not only beautiful and brilliant, but they’re also very brave.”

Dunne was photographed earlier this year in Puerto Rico by Ben Watts. The 20-year-old New Jersey native is the highest-paid college athlete in the country, racking up a seven-figure salary through social media content including name, image and likeness brand deals.
