Padma Lakshmi Still Isn’t Over Her 2023 SI Swim Photoshoot, and Neither Are We

The TV host and author posed for this year’s magazine in Dominica.

Padma Lakshmi may be primarily known for her work as a best-selling author and creator of Taste the Nation, but the 52-year-old continues to remind her social followers of her SI Swimsuit model status, too.

Lakshmi’s photoshoot with Yu Tsai in Dominica resulted in a gallery of stunning images featured in this year’s magazine, and the TV host shared an Instagram reel of a few favorites on Sunday.

The initial quadrant of pics showcased Lakshmi clad in a seashell bikini top by NAVY RAY paired with neutral bottoms by Lola & Lamar, as well as an incredible greenery-inspired set by Elizabeth Shevelev. She also donned a yellow beaded two-piece by Ola Vida and an intricate seashell bikini by Heidi Fish.

Additional snapshots from Lakshmi’s time on location then flashed across the screen. She credited the full SI Swimsuit team in her caption, along with a simple “💁🏾‍♀️” emoji.

“*shows everyone how it’s done 🙌🏻,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day wrote in the comments section.

“I don’t think planet earth was ready for this,” one of Lakshmi’s 1.4 million followers quipped.

“...when you look up ‘smolder’ in the dictionary...” someone else added.

“That’s [the] power of confident woman 👩,” another person stated.
