Padma Lakshmi is getting back to her modeling roots with her 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue feature. The best-selling author and television show host posed for this year’s magazine in Dominica with photographer Yu Tsai.

Lakshmi, who previously worked as a model in her 20s, shared some incredible behind the scenes footage on Instagram on Tuesday, in which she donned a seashell bikini by Heidi Fish. In the clip, set to “Flow” by Jeff Kaale, the 52-year-old mom of one posed at the shoreline while Yu Tsai cheered for her in the background.

@yutsai88 could make a moose feel beautiful 😂 ❤️ @si_swimsuit BTS ✨,” Lakshmi quipped in her caption.

“Ok 🍑 we see you,” Kim Hill wrote in the comments.

“I just got fired from my job for looking at this at work but it was worth it!🔥,” someone else joked.

“You are seriously a goddess! Brains. Beauty. Compassion. You’ve seriously got it all and i love this transformation for you!” another fan added.

“I don’t know about a moose, but I definitely see a GOAT 🐐,” a follower noted.

“mother is mothering,” Amanda Roy gushed.

The day prior, Laskhmi shared an incredible image from her photo shoot in which she wore a beaded yellow bikini top by Ola Vida. She aptly captioned the photo, “Call me mother (nature) ☀️🪷.”
