Unless you’re a dedicated subscriber to Paige Lorenze’s YouTube channel, you might not know that the popular social media influencer spent much of her childhood and teenage years on the slopes. Though she can more often be found on the tennis court these days than on the powder—thanks, in part, to her boyfriend, pro tennis player Tommy Paul—her original passion for sports started with the snow.

In high school, she attended Burke Mountain Academy, a school dedicated to educating and training alpine ski racers. She gave up professional pursuits of the sport when she headed to New York City to attend college—but the sport hasn’t fully left her.

Though she perhaps doesn’t take to the slopes as often as she used to, Lorenze still has a penchant for strapping on a pair of skis and hitting the powder. Plus, she still has a lot to show for her years of training as a child: the influencer is an impressive force on the ski mountain.

She proved as much in a video from a recent trip to the slopes. The 26-year-old donned a belted bright white snowsuit and black helmet, strapped on her skis and carved down the mountain.

Though her days of skiing regularly have come and gone, that doesn’t mean she’s lost the skill she built during her many years of training and competing. The proof is in the video above—and we’re going to hope that it won’t be her last time on the mountains this season.
