Influencer Paige Spiranac sure knows how to grab the internet’s undivided attention. On May 24, the former pro golfer cryptically posted a tweet teasing a “big announcement tomorrow.”

Thursday’s reveal on Twitter included a photo of the 30-year-old, one-time SI Swimsuit model clad in black lacy lingerie with the message, “Big announcement! You have been asking am I a golfer or a stripper…today we find out.”

In the linked YouTube video, Spiranac brilliantly trolled online haters who question whether she’s really a golfer or a stripper. The seven-minute clip explored Spiranac’s pretend quest to become the latter, only to end with her alter ego, Sandy Mounds, running off the stage to a crowd booing her.

“Yet again, Paige suffered disappointment when she realized she wasn’t cut out to be a stripper,” the on-screen text read before directing viewers to Spiranac’s subscription-only platform, “OnlyPaige.”

The satirical clip racked up more than 100,000 views in just a few hours, and tons of fans chimed in to the comments section with praise.

“You nailed this. Great response to those the trolls,” one person applauded. “Kudos from a non-golfing fan, who simply appreciates your courage. Stay strong, be you. Its beautiful.”

“Awesome, Paige! Keep forging ahead. Keep a sense of humor, but above all else, believe in yourself,” another fan wrote. “Over the last couple of years following you, I have seen you grow stronger and more confident. Your true fans will see your talent and value to the golf world. You’re beautiful!”
