Patrick Mahomes Voices Support for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Love Story

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has watched their relationship blossom since last fall.

According to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce can just about do it all. Not only is he the “hardest working guy in the building” when it comes to football, but he manages to enjoy his life beyond the sport, as well.

In recent months, that has manifested in Kelce’s relationship with pop musician Taylor Swift. The pair started seeing each other last fall, and quickly garnered media attention with their blossoming partnership. Now, several months in, their relationship seems to be everyone’s favorite topic of discussion.

According to Mahomes, Kelce has handled the balance between on-field business and his high-profile relationship well, he said during the Super Bowl Opening Night press conference on Feb. 5.

“He’s handled it great. I think what I’ve always known about Travis is he loves to ... follow his dreams outside the building,” Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, stated of Kelce, the team’s tight end. “Obviously, he’s in a great relationship now and he embraces that, but when he gets in the building, it’s all about football.”

Mahomes has had somewhat of a front row seat to the growing relationship between his teammate and Swift. In addition to the fact that his wife, Brittany, and Swift have become fast friends, Mahomes himself has interacted with the musician on several occasions.

“It’s been awesome to see their relationship grow,” he said of the couple.

We have no doubt that Mahomes will have many more chances to interact with Swift, but for now, both he and Kelce are set on securing an additional Super Bowl ring in the Big Game on Sunday.
