Selena Gomez Relies on This Classic Beverage for Caffeine Instead of Coffee

While many fans like to know whether their favorite celebs prefer coffee or tea as a morning pick-me-up, it turns out that Selena Gomez doesn’t reach for either. In a promo post for her Food Network show, Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays, Gomez revealed that she loves a refreshing soda instead.

“My go-to coffee order is Coca-Cola,” she said while making a face. “I don’t really like coffee.”

In the clip, Gomez also shared several other preferences, including how she orders her eggs (sunny side up), the food she will never eat (rabbit) and her biggest guilty pleasure meal (ramen).

The Only Murders in the Building star posted the quirky clip to Instagram on Nov. 30, the same day the four-episode series premiered on the Food Network. On Thursday’s episode, Gomez and chef Eric Adjepong prepared a New Year’s Day brunch. In the forthcoming episodes, each airing on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, the singer-actress will join Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon and Claudette Zepeda in whipping up delicious holiday menus.

“The holidays have always meant so much to me,” Gomez told Food Network. “It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in my kitchen to introduce some of their favorite foods and what makes the holidays special for them.”

We can’t wait to tune in! And judging by the fact that the reel has racked up more than 1.5 million likes, we assume many of Gomez’s 428 million followers are doing the same.
