In many (blatantly obvious) ways, Serena Williams is not like the rest of us. She is an iconic, record-breaking athlete, whose track record on the tennis court speaks for itself.

But, in some ways, she’s exactly like the rest of us. In a comical turn of events, retirement has brought Williams to TikTok, the short video platform that has enchanted the younger generation for a few years now. And, though her content is unconventional, it is exactly the type for which so many gravitate toward the app. All of that is to say, it’s funny. She posts content from her everyday life, and she gets plenty of views and laughs along the way.

Her latest video from family vacation is no exception. “Talked into doing [a] waterslide” by her 6-year-old daughter, Olympia, the athlete did it twice. The third time around, she decided to film it for her fans.

In the video, she took her phone with her and filmed her reaction to the turns and bumps of the tropical slide. The athlete alternately squealed and exclaimed as she slid toward the pool. Though it seemed she wasn’t enjoying herself mid-way through, the former pro athlete emerged from the water laughing hysterically, so we know it was a good time. She clearly wouldn’t have done it three times in a row if it weren’t.

We can only hope that her newfound hilarious TikTok hobby continues, and that Olympia keeps making her comical activities worth filming.
