We love a sweet mother-daughter moment, and retired professional tennis player Serena Williams certainly delivered with a recent Instagram post. The 23-time Grand Slam singles champ shared the cutest trio of pics alongside her daughter, Olympia, on Friday.

The two smiled for the camera together and made goofy faces in the series of selfies, and the post also featured a cute clip of Olympia hiding from her mother behind a pillow on the couch.

“My main squeeze @olympiaohanian,” Williams sweetly wrote of her daughter in her caption.

We clearly weren’t the only ones who thought the captures in time were precious, as plenty of the 42-year-old mom of two’s 17.2 million followers chimed in to the comments section with feedback.

“She is adorable 😍,” one person gushed.

“Beautiful mama and daughter! ❤,” someone else applauded.

“She is adorable,” another individual concurred. “Your main squeeze is beautiful!”

“Love her confidence! 🙌,” another user cheered.

Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, welcomed Olympia in 2017, and the tennis GOAT gave birth to their second child, Adira, last August. The retired athlete made headlines earlier this week after offering up some inspirational words of self-love for fellow postpartum women.

“You just have to keep going,” Williams told TODAY in 2020 of balancing motherhood and work. “Just when you think you can’t do it anymore, you kind of close your eyes and go for it. We’re strong. We keep going and wake up the next day and smile like nothing ever happened. That’s just what we do.”
