See Suki Waterhouse’s Show-Stopping Bump at the Primetime Emmy Awards

The first time mom-to-be stunned in a Valentino cut-out red dress.

Actress Suki Waterhouse announced her pregnancy in November and at Monday night’s Emmy Awards, her baby bump was the talk of the red carpet in a backless red Valentino gown with side cut-outs that put it on glorious display.

Waterhouse explained she initially tried the dress on earlier in her pregnancy, but worked with Valentino to tailor it around her growing bump.

“I was really excited about this look,” she told a reporter from E! “I tried it on a couple of months ago but it didn’t even—like, I had to hold it. The fitting was me just holding it to my body, so they had to really take it apart, and they had to redesign this dress to make it fit the bump. But it does and I’m really happy that it worked.”

The night wasn’t her first fashionable moment as an expectant mom. She wore a lavender, glittery bodycon dress when first confirming her pregnancy at the Corona Capital Festival.

Waterhouse was at the Emmys to support Daisy Jones & The Six, the limited series about a fictional 1970’s rock band that she starred in alongside Riley Keough and Camila Morrone. On the red carpet, Morrone playfully put her arms around Waterhouse’s belly, giving it an affectionate hug.

Morrone also hinted how far along her friend might be. “I think Suki must be seven [months], but don’t quote me on that,” Morrone told Extra.

This will be the first baby for Waterhouse and fiancé Robert Pattinson. “I’m very happy for them,” added Morrone. “They are amazing people. She is going to be the best mom.”
