Supermodel Elle Macpherson Rocks Belted Coat Dress, Shares What She’s Learned From Life in Front of the Camera
Supermodel Elle Macpherson first appeared on the scene in the early 1980s, when she had a fabulous start to her long and successful career.
The 59-year-old made her SI Swimsuit debut in 1985 and landed a record five covers. She’s also walked numerous runways, including Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren, and appeared in campaigns for Christian Dior and Escada.
In 1990, she launched Elle Macpherson Intimates, which took off and became the best-selling lingerie brand in the U.K. and Australia. Today, she’s the founder of wellness company WelleCo.
In her most recent Instagram post, the mom of two opened up about everything she has learned from her more than four decades in the industry.
“What has life in the public eye and in front of the camera taught you about confidence?” she wrote. “Lean into your uniqueness because there’s no one else like you and it sets you apart. One of life’s great purposes is to appreciate our natural uniqueness… experiencing that power can give you confidence to be authentically you and that’s where real beauty lies. It’s an enlightening and enriching journey to get to know, love and appreciate who you naturally are and then make choices that are aligned with that.”
Macpherson tagged clothing brand Karen Millen in the April 27 post. She wore a beige belted blazer dress from the company, paired with chunky black sunglasses and strappy nude heels.
