It’s officially fall, and Ellie Thumann is ecstatic about it. Though cooler weather has been rolling in for weeks, and pre-fall fashion and decor has slowly creeped into our day-to-day, the official start of autumn is today. With summer months a thing of the past, we can finally delve completely into our excitement and preparation for the fall season.

We’ve been thinking about all that the season brings with it: crisp weather, vibrant trees, pumpkin picking and Halloween. And, evidently, Thumann is doing the same. The social media influencer shared a clip to her TikTok on Sept 21 that featured scenes from her fall-ready apartment.

The post has given us some incredible fall decor inspiration, and we can’t help but share it with you. Here are some of our favorites from Thumann’s apartment.

Themed pillows and throw blankets

Think pumpkin-embroidered shams and orange-tinged blankets. These simple elements can be the means of incorporating fall decor into your apartment in a relatively seamless way. If you have pillows and blankets laying around anyway, consider switching them out for a seasonal pick.

Decorated dishes

Fall-inspired plates, bowls and cups are another easy way to add a touch of seasonal decor into your home. Thumann propped some of her fall-themed plates up against the backsplash in her kitchen for an added touch.

Candles

Whether fall-themed in smell or appearance—or both—candles are the perfect autumnal accent to your home. With sweet designs or pumpkin scents, this typical household item can easily take on seasonally-appropriate flair.

Whether you’re a huge fan of fall—like Thumann—or not, her cute decor ideas can be applied to whichever season you are drawn to most.
