These 8 Photos of Camille Kostek in St. Croix Prove Why She Returns to SI Swim Year After Year

SI Swimsuit stalwart Camille Kostek has returned to the magazine every single year since her debut. The former NFL cheerleader was discovered through, and co-won, the Swim Search open casting call in 2018. The following year, she landed the cover after her gorgeous photoshoot with Josie Clough in Kangaroo Island, Australia.
“The cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, that photo put me on the map internationally in 2019,” Kostek recalled during her 2023 feature in the Dominican Republic. “It literally changed my life. Whenever I’m feeling lost or looking for a new direction or not sure where I’m going to go next in life, that photo [is a] reminder of all the things I had to get through personally to be in a space where I could glow and be recognized.”
Below are eight of our favorite photos from Kostek’s SI Swimsuit photoshoot with Derek Kettela in St. Croix last year.
