This Is How Kate Beckinsale Shut Down Plastic Surgery Accusations With Class

The 49-year-old actress did not let rude comments slide on a recent Instagram post.

After attending a film premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Kate Beckinsale opted to share photos of her incredible mint green beaded Zuhair Murad romper and taffeta skirt combo. Her May 29 Instagram post showed off her fashion-forward ensemble, complete with Chopard jewels and strappy silver Stuart Weitzman shoes.

“At the Pot au Feu premiere, 76th Cannes Festival in my dream dress -remembering my first time on these steps 30 years ago in scuffed steel toe-capped Dr Martens. Both magical 💚,” Beckinsale wrote in her caption.

While many of Beckinsale’s 5.5 million followers chimed into the comments section with praise, a few detractors accused the Underworld actress of going under the knife for cosmetic surgery. When someone inquired about a facelift in particular, the 49-year-old star responded with nothing but class.

“no threads no lift no Botox no laser no nose job no filler . I do have facials with prp to boost collagen and micro current for skin tightening and oxygen. I probably would try laser but I’m a bit scared . Haven’t so far,” she wrote.

Another individual made a broad statement about celebrities, in general, being untruthful about their “face procedures,” to which Beckinsale again fired back.

“I haven’t had a facelift or filler or Botox,” she noted. “I’m not lying and I don’t have to accept people accusing me of things I haven’t done.”
