There’s no doubt that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the most talked-about couple on the internet these days. But what Swifties really want to know is, exactly when did their romance first begin?

On a July episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, who plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Travis lamented that he was unable to give Swift a friendship bracelet at her “The Eras Tour” stop at Arrowhead Stadium. Two months later, the “All Too Well” singer appeared in a private suite at the very same location on Sept. 24 to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears.

“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told TIME of her tight end beau late last year. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

Kelce just offered some additional insight into the timeline of his partnership with the 12-time Grammy Award winner when he appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Jan. 31. When McAfee, a former punter and current broadcast analyst, asked Kelce whether or not he and Swift “knew each other pretty well” before she attended that first NFL game back in September, Kelce eagerly clarified.

“Yeah, we had known each other for close to a month up to that point,” Kelce stated. “So it wasn’t just a out of the blue, ‘Hey, come to the game and enjoy the game,’” he added with a laugh.
