While he’s busy gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday, Travis Kelce is no doubt getting bombarded with questions regarding his relationship during press events leading up to the Big Game.

At a press conference earlier this week, one reporter inquired why the Kansas City Chiefs tight end thinks so many people are “captivated” by his relationship with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

“I think the values that we stand for, and just you know, who we are as people,” Kelce replied. “We love to shine light on others, shine light around the people that help and support us, and on top of that, I feel like we both have just a love for life.”

Earlier this week, the 34-year-old pro athlete took time during another press conference event to praise his 14-time Grammy Award winning-girlfriend’s work ethic.

“She’s as much of a professional as anybody I’ve ever met. She just has a desire and a love for what she does, you can tell in how she creates things, how she kind of like strategically goes about her career, you can tell she loves every single bit of it,” Kelce stated of Swift, also 34. “So I just take that and know that when I come into the building every single day and I show everybody how much I love it by how I work, that’s respected very much.”

Super Bowl LVIII kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers.
