Watch Paige Spiranac Hit This Tricky Golf Shot on Her SI Swimsuit Photo Shoot

When she posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in Aruba in 2018, Paige Spiranac took a brief break from modeling to show off her golf skills behind the scenes. The magazine’s official TikTok account shared a great throwback moment earlier this week of the former pro golfer executing a tricky shot from the sand.

In the clip, Spiranac stood on the beach in a black cut-out bikini as she attempted to hit a bunker shot from the sand into a moving boat out on the water. Her blonde locks were pulled back into a sporty ponytail.

“I don’t really know how it’s gonna work out,” she said of the tricky shot, “but I’m excited.”

Spiranac then proceeded to nail her shot by landing the ball in the moving target. She raised her arms above her head and did a cute, happy dance for the camera.

While on location in Aruba, Spiranac worked with photographer James Macari. Even five years later, the 30-year-old’s photo shoot remains iconic, particularly an image in which she was captured on the back of a motorbike in the desert. Read the full story behind the famous snapshot here.
