Zendaya made her presence known while promoting Dune: Part Two at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The actress, who stars in the forthcoming film alongside Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Austin Butler, displayed a daring take on the menswear trend on the red carpet.

She wore a backless gray vest that was secured loosely with a thin black strap, which she paired with wide leg trousers. Zendaya’s sky-high white pointed-toe heels added a super feminine touch, while the 26-year-old actress kept her accessories simple and opted for gold hoop earrings and layers of bangle bracelets.

The Euphoria star wore her short locks in a sleek blowout with a slight curl to the ends, accented with simple glam, including bold brows and a glossy lip.

It’s not clear who put together Zendaya’s outfit for the event, since her longtime stylist, Law Roach, announced his retirement on Instagram last month. He recently styled unforgettable ensembles for the star’s Screen Actors Guild Awards and NAACP Image Awards red carpet appearances, both in February.

Dune: Part Two, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2021 sci-fi film directed by Denis Villeneuve, is slated for release on Nov. 3.
