This 20-Minute Booty Burn Workout Provides a Quick and Efficient Challenge

If you’re in need of a bit of Monday motivation to kick your workouts off on the right foot this week, allow Reagan Bregman to be your guide. The proud mom of two is a fitness enthusiast who often shares wellness tips and tricks with her followers through her Wellness by Reagan Bregman platform.
Today, she’s letting SI Lifestyle readers in on her favorite lower body booty burn workout, which takes just 20 minutes and minimal equipment—including a pair of dumbbells and a yoga mat—to complete.
“It is a great simple, yet effective workout when you have like 20 to 30 minutes,” Bregman explained. “You do one round all the way through of the workout, and then you’ll repeat this video two to three times through and that will give you the full 20- to 30-minute workout.”
20-minute booty burn workout
“I am a mom of two, so having 20 to 30 minutes to get a workout in, I have to do something effective,” Bregman explained. She added that when you repeat the strength training routine for the second and third time, you should feel like you’re really challenging yourself.
Bregman’s workout consists of the following moves:
- Sumo squats x 10
- Reverse lunges x 12
- Russian deadlifts x 10
- Single leg hip thrusts x 10 on each leg
- Sumo squat hold for 30 seconds
- Jump squats x 10
After executing the first through fourth moves once, Bregman recommends repeating the circuit two more times, then finishing the entire workout with a 30-second sumo squat hold followed by 10 jump squats.
Bregman’s love of fitness and philanthropy
Reagan is the wife of Chicago Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman, who alongside her husband, enjoys giving back to her community. In doing so, she combines her passions for fitness and philanthropy by hosting an initiative through the Bregman Cares foundation called A Moment for Moms.
Alongside pal Tish Columbus, the free events include Pilates instruction and are targeted toward mothers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Last year’s inaugural event was held in Boston, while additional A Moment for Moms classes have also been held in Texas.
Following her husband’s latest career move (Alex opted out of his contract with the Boston Red Sox and signed as a free agent with Chicago in January 2026), only time will tell whether or not the workout class will also make the move to Illinois.
