Whether she’s traveling for work or play, 2023 SI Swimsuit model Katie Austin is often on the go. While the fitness influencer recently provided her expert tips for stress-free travel, she’s also dishing up her advice for getting back into your regular routine post-vacation.

Earlier this week, Austin did an “Ask Me Anything” Q&A session on her Instagram story. One of the 20-year-old influencer’s 388,000 followers on the platform inquired about how to do a health and wellness reset after two weeks of traveling filled with indulgent food and drink. The model and fitness entrepreneur responded with tons of helpful tips that are super simple to slowly incorporate back into your regular routine.

“don’t be too hard on yourself!” Austin responded. “drink lots of water, don’t restrict your diet, but instead ADD to it with extra nutrients! try 20 min a day of workouts for [the] first couple days then progress! try to organize your morning routine schedule as soon as you get back to jumpstart your days! make your meals at home! go to bed early:).”

For her third year with the SI Swimsuit Issue, Austin traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she was photographed by James Macari. She’s the reigning co-Rookie of the Year and co-winner of the brand’s 2021 Swim Search open casting call.
