Billie Eilish struggles with bad days just like the rest of us. The “Bad Guy” singer often speaks up about how reaching such a high level of fame at such a young age has opened up a door to incessant comments about her body and the impact that has had on her. In 2020, she became the youngest person in Grammy Award history to take home wins for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year in one night.

The 21-year-old boasts 109 million followers on Instagram and has created numerous chart-topping singles and albums. She’s also slowly cementing herself as a style icon—in that she wears what she want and can change up her look any time she chooses.

“My relationship to myself has gotten really nice. I really enjoy my company. I say that as a person that didn’t for a really long time,” the Los Angeles native told Vogue in a recent interview promoting her new fragrance. “I started talking out loud to my body, and when I felt like weak because I’m tired or I feel like I don’t look good, or I feel like something hurts or whatever it is, I’ll talk out loud to different body parts as if I’m there supporting them, and like, there for them and they’re there for me and I feel like I’m never fully alone. I don’t know if that sounds stupid, but it makes me feel really good and like I have a friend in my legs or my arms.”
