Sixtine, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, responded to a recent fan inquiry on TikTok about her weight with incredible candor. She created a video response detailing why someone declaring her body type their “goal” didn’t sit well with her.

“I’m flattered you think I’m attractive, but I do not want to be anybody’s goal body type,” she explained. “Because if you spend your life trying to look like somebody else, you will never be happy. Let me repeat that: if you spend your life trying to look like somebody else, you will literally never be happy or satisfied.”

Sixtine went on to state that even if she did share her weight, two individuals could have the exact same diet and exercise routine, see the same number on the scale and still not physically look the same.

“My advice is to figure out a way to work out and eat and live your lifestyle in a way that makes you feel good, and focus on how you feel rather than doing it to look a certain way,” Sixtine suggested.

She reiterated in her caption that she doesn’t want her followers to be anyone but themselves.

“I’m a size 12, my mom and sister are about a size 2. It took me years to shake the guilt and shame,” one fan wrote. “Thank you for spreading this message 🤍🤍🤍.”

“was literally scrolling thinking what i wanted to change about my body when this video came up,” someone else noted. “needed this video & that’s why i ❤️ur account.”

“AMEN!!!” another follower applauded. “Everyone’s body is different, the same number looks totally different on every person!”
