Here are the athleisure and wellness companies that the influencer is most drawn to.

As the founder of her own fitness platform, former Division I lacrosse player Katie Austin knows what it takes to create a solid fitness brand. That’s why, when it comes to the companies in the industry that she recommends—whether for quality workout equipment or chic, lasting activewear—we are guaranteed to check them out.

Recently, the 30-year-old shared in an exclusive interview with SI Swimsuit her favorite brands in the industry. Since we find her recommendations more than worthwhile, we thought we’d pass them along for your future workout equipment and clothing needs.

Here are her go-to companies, as well as some SI Swimsuit-approved products that they offer.

Athleta

A classic, Austin loves this activewear brand. “It’s not only an iconic brand, but it fits every single demographic,” she said of the well-known label.

And, if that’s not recommendation enough, “the leggings last forever,” she said.

Available in a handful of colors, including classic black, these leggings are a best-seller. Buttery soft, they are ideal for your next moment in the studio.

Athleta Triumph Hoodie, $108 (athleta.gap.com)

This hooded jacket is the perfect layer for medium- and high-impact workouts indoors or out. Made from a stretchy cotton, it’s the perfect breathable pick for fall and winter workouts.

Stori and JOJA

The model grouped these together because of their status as female-owned athleisure brands. Stori, owned and operated by Katy Hearn, creates clothes geared toward “empowering those who want to do it all,” according to the website. JOJA is owned by models Jasmine Tookes and Josephine Skriver, a fellow SI Swimsuit star.

Because she “loves supporting other people in [her] industry,” she enjoys supporting these female-owned businesses.

Stori Icon Tight, $88 (stori.com)

These full-length tights feature seams meant to contour and define. With a handful of different colors to pick from, they are a vibrant option for your next activewear purchase.

JOJA Fairway Legging - Onyx, $94 (joja.com)

Featuring a colorblock design, these flattering leggings are soft, smooth and functional. They have a high-rise fit and are perfect for a wide variety of activities.

Reebok

For Austin, her love for Reebok is personal. In addition to having “amazing HIIT shoes,” the brand is “really special” to her because her mom, Denise Austin, “was the first ever endorsement deal as a female for Reebok,” she explained.

Reebok HIIT TR 3 Women’s Training Shoes, $104.97 (reebok.com)

The Austin-approved shoes are perfect for high-intensity interval training. The design is perfectly crafted to adopt to your movements during a tough workout.

Nordic Track

The fitness influencer is a big proponent of low-impact cardio. She recommends “doing incline treadmill or hills... to really lift and sculpt your booty,” she said. For that, she absolutely loves Nordic Track.“They have a great incline [treadmill],” she explained.

Nordic Track Commercial 1750, $2,499 (nordictrack.com)

Featuring a 14-inch pivot touchscreen and both incline and decline settings, this tread is the perfect pick for Austin-approved low-impact rolling hills walks.

Katie Austin Fitness App

Of course, she had to name her own impressive platform in her list of favorites. “Have you ever heard of her? I have not,” Austin joked.

The app has 250 on-demand workout classes, ranging from yoga and Pilates to dance and HIIT classes. “At-home accessible workouts,” she added. “Anywhere, anytime.”
