Football season is upon us, and there’s nothing better than heading to a game day tailgate or curling up on the couch for an afternoon of cheering on your favorite team. Whether you opt to watch IRL or at home, snacks are always of the utmost importance on game days.

Katie Austin, a three-time SI Swimsuit model and certified fitness trainer, has got your back when it comes to “healthified” versions of your favorite tailgate-worthy recipes. Her Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries, which she shared on Instagram on Oct. 18, are the best combo of protein and carbs to satisfy your game day cravings.
