Whenever we need a dose of health and wellness inspiration, we often turn to Melissa Wood-Tepperberg. The certified Pilates and yoga instructor recently shared a TikTok about what to do when you’re lacking motivation that’ll no doubt put some perspective on sticking to your healthy habits.

“It’s the days when you wake up and you don’t want to do any of it that make the biggest difference in your transformation and your commitment to yourself. So if you woke up today and you’re not feeling it, I want you to lean in to how good you know you’re going to feel after you lean into your habits,” the MWH founder offered. “When you’re lacking motivation, I want you to take one foot in front of the other, be so damn grateful that you get to do this. That attitude and that mentality right there changes things. And then you get to work.”

Wood-Tepperberg went on to note that whether your routine includes hot water with lemon, green juice or meditation, you’ll never regret moving your body and sticking to your healthy habits.

“This was me today! And I did it 😁 pushed through,” one person noted in the comments.

“You are so awesome!” someone else applauded. “I always ask myself if I don’t do it today why do I think I will tomorrow! What we do today improves our tomorrow🖤.”
