Emily DiDonato Announces Pregnancy With Sweet and Stylish Instagram Snaps

Emily DiDonato shared today, Dec. 17, that she is welcoming her third child with her husband, Kyle Peterson. And the model revealed the news in a totally on-brand way: with a stunning photo shoot.
Posing in front of an ivory backdrop, which hid some greenery behind the longtime model, the 34-year-old mother of two showcased her belly in a white baby tee and low-rise jeans of the same hue. She sported a pair of moccasins and small hoop earrings to finish off the ensemble, which she debuted on Instagram this morning.
“Surprise!” DiDonato penned in the three-slide carousel’s caption. “Coming spring 2026. 💙” In its second frame, her oldest daughter, Teddy, made an appearance as she leaned towards her mother’s belly. The new addition will also make her youngest child, Oliver, a big brother.

DiDonato on motherhood
DiDonato has openly talked about her journey as a mom, alongside Peterson, whom she married in 2018. In fact, the model openly expressed her thoughts on having a third child in June, roughly six months before sharing the news of her growing family.
“The Big Question: Do I Want a Third?” DiDonato wrote on her site in an article titled, What I've Learned as a Mom of Two. “Some days, I think yes. I could do this again—one more tiny human to love. But after a miscarriage, it’s been a longer journey to figure out what I want our family to look like. Do I want to try again? I can’t quite shake the feeling that we might not be done.”
DiDonato tearfully detailed her miscarriage to TikTok in Aug. 2024, nearly one year before the sentiment. In October of the same year, she also expressed the unique love that she has gained, simply by being a mom.
“The depth of the love and care that I feel for [my children] is like nothing else in this world,” the model said in an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE. “I know it is cliché, but I just feel so lucky sometimes that I get to experience this type of relationship.”
