All six episodes of The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project officially dropped on Hulu today, Friday, Aug. 21, and star Nicole Williams English is opening up about her return to reality television.

In an interview on a segment of TODAY earlier this morning, the model and mom chatted about the brand-new show, which costars Williams English’s inner circle, consisting of Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, Yris Palmer, Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq. While fans got to know Williams English when she starred on WAGS LA between 2015 and 2018, The Girls marks her return to reality television for the first time in nearly a decade.

Williams English stated during the TODAY segment that she, Halcro and Pierson wanted to do another reality show after the aforementioned WAGS LA ended, but the right project didn’t come along until The Girls, which shines a spotlight on the women’s careers, relationships and more. She also teased how her husband, retired NFL player Larry English, is involved in the new series.

“He was really excited for me [to be back on camera], I don’t necessarily think that he thought he was gonna have like a leading role in The Girls and be one of the girls, but realistically, everyone knows Larry is one of the girls,” Williams English joked. “He is probably gonna hate me saying that, but he’s like my girlfriends’ best friend too, so it only made sense and I think the world wanted to see him back with me to see where we are after all this time so he was happy for me that like my dream finally came true of like getting back on TV, so he’s been a trooper.”

Williams English also dished on how pal Khloé Kardashian, who serves as executive producer of the series, fits into the mix. Since Kardashian is part of the group, she occasionally appears on camera in addition to being part of the project behind the scenes.

“She just told us, like, ‘Look, I know you guys got this. This isn’t your first rodeo, but if you need me, I’m here. If you feel uncomfortable, I’m here, just let me know.’ And she’s so supportive and she really is like a girl’s girl and was really there for us and so it just felt really natural. Like, it didn’t feel like she was our producer at all. But we knew that if we needed the support, she was there.”

We can’t wait to tune in! All six episodes of Season 1 of The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project are available now to stream on Hulu.
