Taylor Swift needs no introduction—and yet here we are, writing one.

The 36-year-old singer-songwriter has been dominating airwaves and tugging at our heartstrings ever since she broke out onto the country music scene with her self-titled debut album in 2008. In the nearly two decades since, she’s broken countless records for her many beloved albums, going on to become the first artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards four times. And speaking of records, her mega-popular Eras Tour was also in the business of breaking a few, becoming both the highest-grossing tour and the highest-grossing concert film of all time.

And when it comes to fashion, this superstar has a unique flair all her own. From sparkling onstage ensembles to sultry sideline styles and radiant red carpet outfits, Swift has a catalogue of incredible fashion moments almost as long as her award wins. With that in mind, we’re taking a look back at just a handful of our personal favorite outfits the artist has worn over the last few years alone.

So without further ado: welcome to the Swift Wardrobe Tour (SI Lifestyle’s Version).

Onstage ensembles

Swift’s Eras Tour was the definition of a cultural phenomenon, and while that was largely in part to the marvelous music and sensational spectacle, we also think the outfits played a role. From shimmering bodysuits to flowing gowns, these nostalgic throwback styles transported fans back to each phase of her career just as much as the tunes themselves.

Looking strong in a bodysuit to start the show

Enchanting the audience in purple

Telling the tales of a tortured poet in black and white

Repping in the rain with golden snakes

Feeling folklore fabulous in a flowing gown

Channeling some midnight mayhem in another bodysuit

Living the life of a showgirl in a two-piece (with a Travis Kelce cameo)

Off-stage style

While sparkling fabrics and dramatic silhouettes rule Swift’s onstage wardrobe, her offstage style is more laidback, calling on effortlessly casual pieces to create simple but chic looks. Crop tops, mini skirts and denim are her go-tos, whether she’s practicing her dance movies or celebrating a massive milestone—like the purchase of her master recordings.

Teasing the ultimate tour in casual cargo pants

Pairing denim with a classic pattern

Celebrating a massive milestone in pastel

Enjoying some wine in mustard trousers

Reimaging academia aesthetics in a mini skirt

Heading back on tour in a vibrant sweatshirt

Getting engaged in chic stripes

Sideline styles

And Swift’s engagement is a perfect segue, as another large part of her fashion repertoire is her sideline styles. Cheering on her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the artist has fully embraced her football fashion era and is often seen wearing headline-making ensembles.

Daring to don all-denim

Checking out the game in checkered print

Bringing back Y2K vibes via accessories

Styling a custom leather moment

Posing for pics in plaid

Red carpet glamour

The last major piece of Swift’s wardrobe puzzle is, of course, her red carpet looks. As hinted at by way of her record-breaking number of Grammy Award wins, the artist has attended plenty of award shows over the years, and given fans endless red carpet moments to choose a favorite from.

Embracing moody hues for the MTV VMAs

Saying hello to a friend (and fellow icon) in silver

Reviving the 1989 era in blue

Arriving at the Golden Globes in glittering green

Hinting at a new era in dramatic black and white

Becoming a “human disco ball” at the American Music Awards

Making a marvelous mini dress moment at the Grammy Awards

Styling daring designer pieces for the MTV VMAs (again!)

What’s next for Swift?

The last three years have been both career-defining and history-making for the artist. After the Eras Tour ended in late 2024 following a two-year run, the artist took some time away from the spotlight. She then returned to catch fans up on the exciting news that she’d bought back her master recordings in May.

In August, she surprised fans with an appearance on the New Heights podcast, where she was interviewed by her fiancé and his brother, Jason Kelce. There, she announced her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released in October. Swift later announced two more releases for 2025: a recording of her final Eras Tour performance and a six-part docuseries titled The End of an Era, both on Disney+.

While Swift has not yet mentioned any professional plans as we move into 2026, she and Kelce have been spending time celebrating their engagement, with outlets reporting that they’re planning to tie the knot in 2026. Needless to say, if that’s the case, you’ll be able to find us right back here, updating this post with wedding dress pics the moment they become available!
