Paige Spiranac is drawing attention to the double standards that exist between men and women who choose to show off their bodies. The golf influencer, who regularly shares content on the green in casual athleisure, from mini skirts to crop tops, made her case with a tweet on Saturday that’s since gotten more than 656,000 views.

Spiranac shared a video of members of the Savannah Bananas baseball team performing a shirtless dance at the pitcher’s mound. In her caption, she pointed out that the clip was generally received positively by viewers, unlike when women choose to show some skin.

“Interesting how different the reaction is online when men choose to show off their bodies,” the 30-year-old pointed out. “Not one comment on this video calling them attention w----- or s----. Just a ton of women saying baseball is now their favorite sport but those same women harshly judge me. The hypocrisy lol.”

A few days later, Spiranac continued the conversation in her Instagram story, where she noted that the initial Twitter post was facilitating a great dialogue. The one-time SI Swimsuit model complimented the team on their “masterclass in how to utilize social media to get new people involved in baseball” while also further explaining the hypocrisy.

“These men are suggestively dancing with their shirts off and not one issue from anyone,” she wrote. “You see movies like Magic Mike be massive hits and again no issue. I clearly don’t have a problem with men or women choosing to show off their bodies one bit but ... I see women get comments daily from men and women lambasting their morals when they do anything similar to this and I find that unfair.”
