Alex Morgan may be a star athlete, but she’s a mom first. The USWNT star shared an adorable clip on Twitter playing soccer with her 2-year-old daughter, Charlie.

In the Wednesday snippet, Charlie kicked the ball toward her mom, who was stretched out on the floor playing goalie.

“O.K., do you want it fast or slow?” Morgan asked her daughter before quickly rolling the ball back to her child.

Charlie then launched the ball back toward her mom with her left foot.

“Whoa! That was perfect!” Morgan cheered.

Plenty of the San Diego Wave striker’s 3.7 million followers on the platform were smitten with the adorable mother-daughter content. “‘Down time’ at camp 😅,” Morgan captioned her post.

“We can always use strong lefties! Seriously, I love seeing the work / life balance in action,” wrote one person. “As much as my family loves watching you play, this may be my favorite highlight clip.”

“Love it!! I played soccer with my niece who is now 25, my daughter who is now 15, and my son who is now 9,” added a fan. “My son is currently impatiently awaiting Spring season, so he drags me outside to play ball every single day! I wouldn't trade it for the world! Charlie has great teachers!”

Morgan, 33, and her husband, pro soccer player Servando Carrasco, 34, welcomed their daughter in May 2020. She frequently gushes about Charlie and provides cute snippets of their family life with her social media followers.

The USWNT defeated Canada 2-0 in the SheBelieves Cup opener on Thursday and followed up with a 1-0 victory over Japan on Sunday.
