On Dec. 18, Alix Earle told her audience on YouTube that 2026 “is going to look way different” for the Dancing With the Stars runner-up. And the 25-year-old social media star may have just given a glimpse at one of her newest endeavors on Instagram yesterday, Jan. 8—at least, that’s what fans are suspecting.

Earle’s ethereal shoot

In the singular snapshot shared to the app, Earle showcased a behind the scenes look at a recent undisclosed photo shoot. For her outfit, the New Jersey native sported a beige tank while what appeared to be a robe-like garment wrapped around her waist.

“bts 🤳🏼🤳🏼,” she penned as the post’s caption. In the frame, Earle’s dewy skin literally glowed in contrast to the monochromatic set, and she wore her blonde hair in loose waves.

Initial fan theories

While Earle provided no context for the mystery snap to her 5.4 million Instagram followers, a lot of her fans took to the comment section to theorize what it’s for—and many users came to a similar conclusion:

“Skincare line incomingggg,” one fan penned. Another agreed, “I see a skincare line in our futureeee !!”

“Calling it now she’s releasing a skincare brand!! 🔥🔥,” one more account added.

“Can’t wait for the skin care company launch👀👀,” a fellow fan wrote.

At the time of this article’s publication, Earle still hasn’t revealed the origins of the enigmatic frame. However, in the same YouTube video from mid-December, she did reveal that a company has been in the works “for the past two years,” although she did not disclose the specifics of the brand. “I’m excited that it's finally gonna come to the forefront and I can share it with everyone,” she continued.

What’s next for Earle

Is Earle diving headfirst into the skincare industry? We’ll have to wait and see. The move would make sense for the model, who has openly discussed her journey with acne for years online.

“My skin is always fluctuating,” she told The New York Post’s Alexa in a cover interview in early December. “It’s a struggle I deal with on a daily basis. It’s not great, but I can say, ‘Here’s how I do my makeup,’ and I can still go out and still feel confident.”

She elaborated, adding, “It’s probably the most common thing girls say when they come up to me, like, ‘You’ve really helped me feel confident in my skin,’ or ‘You’ve helped my daughter.’ That always brings tears to my eyes. It means the absolute most to me.”
