Angel Reese Is a Blonde Bombshell in Elevated Monochromatic Ensemble

The sports world is often asking, “Is there anything Angel Reese can’t do?” However, the question that seems to be more fitting for the one-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model as of late is, “What hair color can’t the stunner pull off?”
Once again, Reese has proved her style catalogue is expansive, as she is able to switch up her looks at the drop of a dime and execute it flawlessly.
Last night, Reese attended the 2025 CFDA Awards at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. She did so wearing her hair in a platinum blonde wig that was as elegant as it was extravagant. The bright tone complemented her look remarkably well, making her all-black ensemble a dashing and pleasurable sight to witness.
Reese’s outfit included a strapless black dress with a solid colored satin band, while the rest of the piece was a glittery spectacle. She donned a pair of barely-there transparent tights with the minidress and topped it off with slingback pointed-toe heels. A dramatic cape elevated the look completely.

Did anyone expect anything less from Reese, especially when she’s attending an awards show centered around fashion? Without a doubt, she nailed this look, making it one of her best ensembles of the fall season thus far.
Reese’s adoration for fashion has been made abundantly clear ever since she rose to fame as the “Bayou Barbie.” However, that adoration certainly upped the ante this year. Between her remarkable WNBA tunnel outfits throughout the year that left her fans speechless and the back-to-back jaw-dropping looks she wore for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Runway Show, it’s clear that the professional basketball athlete was born to dominate the fashion scene.
Even so, her love for fashion is just a fun way to express herself and feel beautiful. For Reese, the acclaim is secondary.
“I love fashion,” Reese told Vogue when speaking with the media outlet on the 2025 CFDA Awards red carpet. “I love everybody’s creativity. I always tell people wear what makes you feel comfortable. There's not a norm to what you should wear or what you shouldn't wear. As long as you wear it, be you.“
