Ellie Thumann Goes All-Out for Two Daring, Glamorous Halloween Looks With Pop Culture Nods

The model’s favorite holiday has arrived.

For Ellie Thumann, October is more than just spooky season—it’s her season. The content creator and model, who turned 24 just days before Halloween, has long considered the holiday her favorite time of year.

Ellieween has arrived

“Halloween in my house was always the biggest holiday we celebrated,” she said back in 2023. “My birthday is also two days before Halloween, so for me, it was always fun to combine my birthday and Halloween and make it one big costume party.”

And the Arizona native still goes all-out. She vlogged this year’s costume photo shoot process and gave fans a little tease earlier this month.

This year, Thumann kicked things off with a flirty, sailor-themed ensemble, showing off her slim, sculpted figure in a metallic blue and white crop top and micro skirt set. The look featured a retro red polka dot detail on the bust and an oversized bow on the hip—paired perfectly with a classic sailor cap and a life preserver prop that read “Welcome Aboard.”

The content creator couldn’t resist a little Swiftie moment, referencing Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl: “keep it 100 on the land the sea ⚓️🎃👻,” she captioned the dump, quoting lyrics from the opening track, “The Fate of Ophelia.”

She posted several variations of the aesthetic, mixing up her glam with a bold red lip and bombshell Hollywood curls. Each shot, captured by Jamie Pearl and brought to life with help from her glam squad, including Brooke (hair) and TA MING CHEN (makeup), oozed pin-up energy with a Gen-Z edge.

A homage to Sabrina Carpenter

In her second look of the season, Thumann traded the open sea for sultry stage lights. The YouTube OG recreated a daring lingerie-inspired outfit reminiscent of Sabrina Carpenter’s white three-piece set from her “Tears” music video.

She tapped photographer Samuel Koesling and posed at night in a field, flashing thigh-high sheer socks trimmed with lace, a flirty micro mini and a structured balconette bra. A red lip and tousled curls, courtesy of Kelli Hoff, completed the sensual, flash-lit vibe.

“favorite day of the year 🎃,” the South Carolina resident captioned the carousel.

Thumann, a self-proclaimed pop culture lover, has always celebrated the girlies and their impact. It’s no surprise she continues to use Halloween as a canvas to merge style, nostalgia and playful tribute.
