We’ve been talking a lot about branching out when it comes to your next manicure (rather than the seasonal red, try a blue or a vanilla white). And while we really do think it’s worth a try, we also know the classics are just that for a reason.

Red, of course, is the hue that we have on our minds right about now. It is, after all, the holiday season, meaning that (in addition to the fact that red is the color of the fall) there is no more fitting shade to sport right about now.

Emma Chamberlain knows this and made a point of proving it in her latest casual Instagram post. To a pair of washed denim pants, a baby white tee and a red-and-white zip-up hoodie, she added a set of sparkly red nails, which complemented her jacket perfectly.

While we aren’t sure exactly shade the YouTuber used, we do have one in mind that we wholeheartedly recommend. OPI is known to make quality products, and the

Red has always been a seasonal classic. If you feel like it’s a little over-done, may we suggest spicing it up with a sparkly version? Same base, a little more pizazz.

Snag the shade and follow Chamberlain’s lead by opting for a sparkly, vibrant manicure just in time for the holiday season.
