Gigi Hadid’s Latest Head-to-Toe Black Getup Proves the Signature Look Will Never Go Out of Style

The ‘Next in Fashion’ star was spotted at the luxury Chiltern Firehouse hotel in London.

Gigi Hadid can rock a multi-colored ensemble just as well as she can rock a sleek, all-black look. Whatever the supermodel wears, she appears chic and maintains her status as a fashion icon.

Her latest monochrome look, featuring black from head-to-toe, from her round sunglasses to her pointed-toe kitten heels, was one for the books. The Next in Fashion star was spotted in London as she made her way to the Chiltern Firehouse luxury hotel and restaurant on June 6.

The mom of one donned a black high-neck knit top, straight leg ankle length trousers and a massive maxi coat featuring shoulder pads and two black buttons. Hadid added the tiniest amount of glam with a circular gold belt buckle and a chunky gold chain necklace.

Despite being made up of common and timeless closet staples, Hadid served effortless, minimalist, comfortable and sophisticated vibes.

“Fashion inspires me through its more creative sides: the campaigns, editorials, shows, set design, creative direction… in my day-to-day life, I have a wardrobe of staples mostly, but I love expressing myself through accessories, bags, shoes, eyewear and of course have fun with runway looks and custom pieces for special moments,” the 28-year-old, who was recently named the new face of Miu Miu, said in an interview with i-D. “I would say I take my job from a very professional and creative perspective. I’m there to get the job done, sell the product, but you have to understand the story you are there to tell as well. What I enjoy most is the friendships I have made from spending time on set. I love watching everyone and taking in their different crafts; I think a good model needs to understand everything that’s going on around them, too.”
