Hunter Schafer and Schiaparelli are a dynamic duo, as the actress looked ridiculously radiant in her gown from the Italian fashion house.

Schafer’s major head-turning fashion moment involved an ethereal strapless, heel-length gown. Glistening bronze gold stripes go across the sage green suede piece, mixing two colors that are as opulent as they come. Upon further inspection, one will immediately notice the intricate detailing of the piece, such as the several rows of sewn-in gold hoops or the lines of gold within the stripes.

A pair of pointed-toe nude heels was a no-brainer for a look like this, as accessories that are muted yet still dramatic were what was needed to tie everything together. The same could be said for her noteworthy silver earrings with large cream pearls at the center.

Topping off this look was her hair and makeup. Packed together in a sleek bun, her rosy blush-filled cheeks and nude lip were made even more apparent. Her neat, slightly-arched eyebrows were perfect additions to give an extra element that could be best described as both edgy and vintage. The subtle eyeshadow in the form of light pink powder on both ends was also an exceptional touch.

With this Schiaparelli number being another incredible outfit added to Schafer’s style résumé, it begs to question of what goes through this fashionista’s mind when she steps out in eye-catching garment after eye-catching garment. She has cited the late Alexander McQueen as an inspiration for the way she dresses today, and even went on to say that she wouldn’t be opposed to running her very own fashion house in the future. The 26-year-old told GQ with regards to future ventures she hopes to explore, “I want to be on my Alexander McQueen s**t.”

It’s also safe to assume that the Cuckoo actress also draws inspiration from her adoration of illustration, as it allows her to be more in tune with herself and thus, more in tune with how she wants to express herself.

“I’m pretty sure I needed [drawing] as a way to externalize what I didn’t feel I could externalize with myself. I was a trans kid who didn’t transition until I was in high school. I had this whole world and person inside of me that couldn’t come out in the way it was supposed to. I think I really needed it as a tool,” she shared.

Transforming the creative thoughts in her mind into both art and style, it’s no wonder that Schafer can make dresses look like masterpieces.
