Isabela Merced Shows Why This Classic Makeup Combo Never Goes Out of Style

Isabela Merced just proved precisely why dark eyeshadows and nude lips will always be a sultry summertime go-to.
The talented multi-hyphenateâwho is having a massive couple of years after securing starring roles in The Last of Us and Supermanârecently stopped by her Instagram account to delight her 4.5 million loyal followers with a breathtaking photo drop.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering: her face card never declines.
In the three-photo carousel, Mercedâs spectacular glam took front and center, as the actress showed off strong eyebrows, fluffy eyelashes, blended eyeshadows, dewy cheeks and nude lips. The cover photo for the set was a true show-stopper, with the actressâs pretty pout and adorable, curly bob almost too glamorous.
The following photos then gave fans a better look at her full ensemble for the shoot, which consisted of a sheer black lace babydoll-style top layered over an opaque black bralette. For added sparkle, the actress donned a diamond choker necklace and a matching pair of earrings, elevating the everyday look to pure luxury.
And of course, plenty of Mercedâs famous friends were quick to hop in her comment section to let her know precisely how fantastic she looked for her latest photo drop:
âFACE. CARDDD,â 2025 SI Swimsuit model Rayna Vallandingham wrote.
âLinda Linda Linda,â Dafne Keen added.
âWowowoww guapa,â Amanda Diaz exclaimed.
And this stylish photo set comes just one week after the multi-hyphenate dropped a new music video for the salsa version of her 2020 song âApocalipsis.â She opened up more about this venture with The Los Angeles Times on Aug. 18, noting thatâwhile the song may technically be a âremixââitâs really so much more than that.
âI mean, âremixâ almost feels like an understatement because it feels like a completely different song. Thatâs thanks to Tony [Succar], whoâs the first Peruvian to win a Grammy. He came to me with this opportunity four years ago, and we recorded the song, but I was signed to a label and we werenât able to release it,â the artist told the outlet. âNow that Iâm free and independent, and he won his Grammy, he wanted to put it on his EP, and I was like, âHell yeah, letâs do it.ââ
Still, that wasnât the only exciting opportunity this remix allowed for, as revisiting the track for a new music video also allowed Merced to explore her love of dance, adding, âI got to dance for it, and I learned all the choreography in an hour and a half. It was crazy, but Iâm really excited for people to see it.â
So be sure to check out the music video for âApocalipsis,â which is out now!
