Jenna Ortega Serves Dark Romance Vibes for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 London Premiere

Jenna Ortega is at it again!
With the world premiere of Season 2, Part 1 of Netflix’s Wednesday right around the corner, the actress has been delighting fans during her press tour with countless ensembles full of goth glam goodness. Whether it be the cover of The Hollywood Reporter or a corpcore-inspired Instagram photo set, the actress has been on an incredible fashion run recently—and her latest look just might be her best.
Taking to the appropriately purple carpet for the Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 premiere in London, the 22-year-old superstar donned a daring cream-colored gown. Expertly tailored to her figure before flaring out at the waist and cascading to the floor, the piece appeared to be made of a latex material featuring a textured finish reminiscent of snakeskin, further proving that “alternative” style isn’t solely based around black attire.
The unique silhouette of the ensemble was worthy of praise, with the sleeveless, high-neck look adding to the gothic Victorian era vibes. The ragged peplum flair at the waist was a wonderful touch, further adding dimension and texture to the piece. Ortega kept her accessories to a minimum to allow the gown to shine, sticking to some simple silver rings adorning both hands.
And her makeup positively screamed “dark romance,” with bleached brows, dark blended eyeshadows and wine red lips taking center stage for a show-stopping glam. And speaking of “show-stopping,” we have to chat about her hair. Ortega wore her signature dark tresses parted down the middle in a low ponytail, which was then knotted in a thick braid down her back with some added pieces for a little extra volume, length and drama, stopping right at her waist.
But that was only one of Ortega’s many incredible looks from this week alone, as she also sported a breathtaking Givenchy number for a recent photo call. She took to Instagram to share the ensemble, which consisted of some very fashion-forward snapshots of her literally lying down on a staircase and on the floor (which...honestly? Relatable content). Still, the best detail of the two-piece set was easily the crop top, which featured puffy sleeves for another play on a classic Victorian era silhouette.
“Stun,” Vanessa Hudgens wrote in the comments under the Givenchy photo set.
“🔥🔥🔥,” Natasha Lyonne simply added.
“I fell over looking at these photos too,” Hunter Doohan joked.
The first part of the second season of Wednesday will be available for streaming on Netflix on Aug. 6, with the second part available Sept. 3!
