Kelsea Ballerini Embraces Her Inner Cowgirl in Plaid Flannel, Brown Jeans and Cowboy Hat

The country music star reminded fans of her Nashville roots in her latest Instagram post.

Kelsea Ballerini might be an expert at dropping pop ballads, but she’s still a country music star at heart. The Nashville native, who is a two-time CMA Award winner, showed off her inner cowgirl in her latest Instagram photo dump.

She donned a thin, tight white turtleneck top and camel brown corduroy jacket with a plain flannel lining, and paired it with dark chocolate wide-leg pants and a light cream cowboy hat. The 30-year-old, who is dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes, snapped a mirror selfie and showed off her clear skin and soft smolder. She opted for a simple glam look, including feathered brows, minimal eye makeup, rosy blush, balmy highlight and a glossy pinky-peach lip.

“just out here new boot goofin,” the “Mountain With A View” singer, who dropped her latest EP and short film Rolling Up the Welcome Mat last February, captioned the carousel that she shared with her 4.1 million followers.

“Dibs was too stunned to speak 😂,” haircare brand Pantene commented, in reference to Ballerini’s dog. One slide in the post featured Ballerini reacting to her own video campaign with the brand on TV.

Some fans eagerly pointed out that the four-time Grammy Award nominee included a snap of herself in a studio, which could be a hint at new music on the horizon.
