Ellie Thumann Shares Her Favorite Low-Rise Denim: Shop the Look

Last fall, low-rise denim saw a surge in popularity, and thus far into 2026, the Y2K-inspired style still reigns supreme. A-listers have put their stamp of approval on the archival silhouette, with everyone from Margot Robbie to Hailey Bieber embracing low-rise denim in recent weeks.

Model and content creator Ellie Thumann also loves a low-rise pant, as evidenced by many of her Instagram snaps lately. From New York to Milan, many of her latest outfits feature low-slung pants and belly-baring tops. Never one to gatekeep, the 24-year-old Arizona native recently shared a reel that contains her “favorite jeans as a tall girl,” and unsurprisingly, the majority of her selects feature a low rise.

“my fav jeans that actually fit me as a 5 foot 11 gal 🐎,” Thumann wrote in the caption of her Feb. 23 post. Plenty of the model’s 1.3 million followers piped into the comments section to thank her for sharing her research where trendy denim is concerned.
