This Barbie says peek-a-boo.

Margot Robbie made a statement in Paris this week—no pink in sight, but plenty of polish. The 35-year-old actress attended the highly anticipated debut of Matthieu Blazy’s first collection as artistic director of Chanel. The Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show took place at the Grand Palais on Monday, Oct. 6, marking the finale of Paris Fashion Week.

Among the 2,300 guests seated beneath the kaleidoscopic installation were Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Tilda Swinton, Pedro Pascal and Sofia Coppola—all there to witness Blazy’s modern reinterpretation of Gabrielle Chanel’s legacy. Robbie sat front row beside Pascal, exuding her signature mix of confidence and ease.

The look

Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Robbie wore a sporty dark navy jacket-and-pants set that blended effortless cool with classic tailoring. The lightweight, windbreaker-style material gave a relaxed finish, while the unzipped jacket revealed a minimalist black string bralette beneath. The peek-a-boo moment showcased her sculpted abs and played into one of the season’s most defining trends—sensual minimalism.

The mom of one, who is the cofounder of LuckyChap Entertainment production company, paired the ensemble with pointy black pumps, barely visible underneath the oversized bottoms, and a small quilted designer purse for a monochromatic finish. Her understated accessories, including two silver Chanel rings, kept the focus on the silhouette: clean, athletic and unapologetic.

Glam details

Robbie’s hair, styled by Bryce Scarlett, was softly tousled with natural waves and parted down the middle for an easy, lived-in texture. Makeup artist Pati Dubroff created a fresh, luminous look—barely-there foundation, brushed-up brows, a touch of highlight and a nude gloss. The effect was glowy and effortless, giving quiet luxury a perfectly modern edge.

The era of peekaboo

From her crystal-embroidered Armani Privé gown at the A Big Bold Beautiful Journey premiere to her caramel-toned Christopher Esber set in New York, the Australian native’s recent fashion streak has been all about reinvention. Her Paris look continued that narrative: less about colors and fussiness, and more about confidence and skin as the ultimate accessory.

At Chanel’s show, Blazy’s debut echoed that same balance of restraint and power, presenting sporty silhouettes and sculptural tailoring through a new lens. Robbie fits seamlessly into that refined and radiant world.

This fall, we’ve spotted the trend spanning aesthetics and arenas, from Hailey Bieber‘s business-y back-to-back looks in September to Cameron Brink and Kelsey Plum bringing the daring vibe to the WNBA tunnel in August.
