Margot Robbie Channels Retro-Inspired Glam in Pastel Pink for New Movie Promo

The Australian actress delivered a soft and sophisticated look for her London photocall.

When Margot Robbie is on a press tour, her fans can expect stunning outfits to be flaunted at every stop. And this expectation proved to be true with her most recent photocall for her upcoming project, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, in London, England.

Robbie is leaning into fall fashion via neutral colors, such as the one she sported in her latest fashion-forward ensemble. She stunned wearing a blush pink brasserie top paired with a latte-colored pencil skirt. Over these pieces, she donned a plush oversized coat in a pigment that teetered the line between a cool nude and a beautiful pastel pink. Leave it to Robbie to rock such a dreamy and mesmerizing color!

As for the accessories, the Australian actress elevated this outfit even further with a pair of desert sand nude pumps. These red bottoms gave the perfect height to allow for her lengthy coat to flourish. They also provided some more shape to her entire photocall attire.

Robbie is in the business of serving head-turning ensembles—still, this talented individual was also in the United Kingdom, hard at work promoting the 2025 title, which she stars in alongside Colin Farrell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe and many more.

In A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the 35-year-old plays the role of Sarah, a woman whose life becomes more exciting when she meets David (Farrell). Their fateful meeting leads them to a mysterious red door with the power to change everything. And so, in dire need of something new, they both walk through, allowing themselves to crash into whatever awaits them on the other side.

Every door they open from then on unlocks important memories, giving them a chance to relive these defining moments. But what new revelations will arise as a result? Will they shy away from their feelings, or will they embrace them head-on?

And the Academy Award-nominated actress felt the magic of this script the moment she first laid eyes on the pages. “Making the movie was magical,” Robbie said. “K [Kogonada] is incredible. The script is beautiful. Colin’s the greatest there is. It was kind of a no-brainer.”

While the 2025 film is a heartwarming look at the human experience, sure to evoke bittersweet feelings of joy, sadness, relief and healing—viewers are still bound to have a laugh or two, just as Robbie and Farrell did on set. When asked what moments during filming made the actors laugh the most, Farrell responded, “I can answer her question. I can give you her answer. Me dancing in a onesie [...] in a lilac onesie.”

Robbie then followed up with an explanation as to why such a moment filled her with elation, explaining, “In the movie, we walk through doors and we have to relive a thing from our past, and everyone sees us as a 14-year-old version of ourselves or whatever. And, so, Colin’s character, David, has to relive his high school musical, and this moment where he confesses his love to his high school crush and all this kind of stuff. But it also meant that Colin—in front of hundreds of extras and all of our crew and myself—had to perform a high school musical and do a full dance number. And it was honestly amazing.“

Robbie noted she hopes people feel “happy” when walking out of the theaters, and—with a feel-good film like this—her wish will likely come true! Be sure to catch A Big Bold Beautiful Journey when the film officially releases in theaters on Friday, Sept. 19.
